Every Morning Must

There is nothing like morning with this album. In only a few days you'll wake up singing Psalm 5 and looking forward to God's presence throughout your day. Focused worship, let the Spirit move. Grab this coffee for your soul.

Just what I hoped for and just what I needed!

I've only listened to this EP a few times so far, but it's just what I was hoping for and just what I need right now — a beautiful, stirring expression of worship and aching and longing and hope, with characteristically perfect production and just-right instrumentation (not overdone, etc.). It's alive and organic and, well, just what I would expect from Carolyn Arends. And it will, no doubt, become a cherished treasure and familiar friend in my own mornings as I struggle each day to keep on worshipping, aching, longing, and hoping in the one who, as the song says, IS everything we need. Feed us, Lord! Have mercy!

Songs to lead you into an awareness of God's presence

I've had the pleasure of hearing Carolyn play several of the songs on this album in person many times, so whenever I hear In the Morning and We Come, I'm taken back to a large but cozy, and dare I say sacred, room on the campus of the University of St. Mary of the Lake in Mundelein, Illinois, where a group of us sing devotions with Carolyn leading our Renovaré cohort. This album will lead your heart, mind, spirit, and body into the presence of God where it will open your eyes to discover that you have been there all along. What more can I say? It's simply beautiful.
